Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the apps, games, and websites provided by Vyomio ("we", "us", "our"). Our current product is Whodunly, a daily browser mystery game. By using our products, you agree to these Terms. Whodunly also has its own product-specific terms at whodunly.com/terms, which apply alongside these.

1. Use of Our Services

You may use our services for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:

2. Accounts

You can play the daily game with no account at all. Some optional features — such as a membership or a ranked detective identity — use a simple, passwordless sign-in with your email. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address linked to your account. There are no passwords to manage.

3. Membership & Payments

Free to play: The daily case is free. No payment is required to play.

Membership: An optional paid membership (the Sleuth Club) unlocks extra features such as the full archive of past cases. Pricing is shown before you subscribe, and first-time subscribers may be offered a free trial.

Billing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; your membership stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: If something isn't right, contact us — refunds are handled in line with the Australian Consumer Law and our reasonable discretion.

4. Your Data

Your game history is yours. We don't claim ownership of your play data, and much of it (like your streak and results) lives in your own browser. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information. You can delete your account and its data at any time from settings.

5. Intellectual Property

Our products — including their design, code, cases, artwork, logos, and trademarks — are owned by Vyomio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our products, case content, or brand materials without written permission.

6. AI-Generated Content

Our cases and puzzles are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and are works of fiction created for entertainment. Any characters use public-domain or fictional names, and any resemblance to real people or actual events is coincidental. AI-generated content is provided as-is and is not professional advice of any kind.

7. Availability & Changes

We publish a fresh case each day and strive to keep our services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vyomio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Australian Consumer Law rights are not excluded or limited by these Terms.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Vyomio harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will note material changes on this page and, where appropriate, in the app. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
